Rawlings Real Estate Management was built on the foundation laid by Bill Bass and Steve Royster, who established Bass & Royster in 1988 as one of Asheville’s most respected custom home builders and contractors. Bill and Steve retired in 2013, and Bill Rawlings, as new owner and Broker-in-Charge, turned the company’s focus exclusively to managing residential and commercial property. As part of our company’s continuing evolution, Bass & Royster Property Management is now operating under the name Rawlings Real Estate Management.

Rawlings Real Estate Management remains committed to the values held since the inception of its predecessor in 1988:  professional integrity, personal service, quality product. Our goal and purpose is to represent these qualities as we provide residential and commercial property management solutions to discerning homeowners and renters.

Patsy Roberts – Property Manager

More than the warm and welcoming voice on the other end of the phone, Patsy Roberts is also one of Rawlings Real Estate Management’s property managers and the “grease on the gears” who keeps things running like clockwork. Patsy has been with the company since its inception in 1988, and hundreds of clients can attest to her cheerful outlook, rapid problem solving skills and sense of humor. When she’s not making the world of Rawlings Real Estate Management work right, Patsy is an avid reader of mysteries and enjoys keeping up with her five children, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great -grandchildren!

Vista Ballou Ware – Leasing Consultant

vista@rawlingsrem.com

Houses and residential spaces have always fascinated Vista; she acquired a degree in Interior Design from WCU and then worked for a decade as a designer at a custom home design/build firm in Cashiers. She is intrigued by homes and the way people live and function within them. Vista enjoys the diversity of people and situations she encounters as a leasing agent in Asheville and understands the importance of the right space for the right person. As the owner of rental property herself, she knows first hand the ups and downs of being an owner and empathizes with the owners’ desire to have their property marketed and shown well in order to find excellent tenants in a timely manner. When asked to join Bill and Patsy in 2013, Vista jumped at the perfect opportunity to blend what she’s gained from both her working and personal experiences.
